I can’t book Southwest on the Amex travel website so I have to call an AMEX travel agent to book it. However, when I do that then I am subject to a silly $40 booking fee. So it seems ridiculous to buy a $100 fare with points and with a great 35% rebate but then have to pay $40. This wipes out any savings. Please advise.
